Please visit one of our local Sales offices, to inform us of your new address and by when you will be moving out. Be sure to have a valid identification handy.

Yes, it’s possible for you to transport the TOTE to your new address, after having notified this at one of our local Sales offices. Ecotech also provides the services for TOTE relocation; a small fee is applicable for the service.

Moving to a new address? All you need to do is pass by one of our Sales offices to register your new address. Be sure to do this before your next pick up, so we can postpone the service and re-schedule.

This is possible;

  •  by visiting one of our local Sales offices to make the desired changes to your actual contract/services. Be sure to have a valid identification handy.

Come by one of our local Sales offices to submit your cancellation. Be sure to have a valid identification handy. For cancellation there is a two(2) months notice required, and that all pending invoices be paid. Other terms & Conditions may apply.

Waste Buckets (Waste containers) are mainly for bulky items, construction waste or regular yard cleaning debris. Examples of bulky items include: refrigerators, washers, dryers, sofas, chairs, mattresses, beds tables or other household items too large to be picked up by your weekly trash truck. Please contact us to schedule your Waste Bucket.

Also is possible to send us your email at info@ecotech.aw to schedule your Waste Bucket or by directly contacting our EcoTech Sales representative for an personal visit.

EcoTech provides Waste Buckets of 10/15/20 yard³.

The rental fee is equivalent to a one day rental. Both the delivery and pick up are during the day, as it’s not possible to plan with time. For extra day rental, other terms and conditions may apply.

This is possible by means of a Direct Debit Standing Order (DDSO). You can have this filled out at one of our local Sales offices. Other option will be to make your payment via a bank transfer.

As soon you apply a deposit, equivalent to one month’s rental, is required to be made. You can pay months in advance as well.

Yes, on holidays all services remains the same and will not be interrupted. The official holidays are;

  • New Year’s Day
  • Betico Day
  • Carnival Monday
  • Flag Day (Aruba)
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • Kings Day
  • Labor Day
  • Ascension Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day (2nd day of Christmas)

Local laws prohibit the disposal of certain waste in rubbish containers. The main reasons for the decline of these materials are the environment of Aruba and the safety of our customers and our employees. Furthermore they are declined in order to prevent fire, injuries and/or damage to our trucks and equipment’s. If any of these are found in the regular waste streams, other terms and condition will apply.

Therefore please be aware the following materials are not permitted to be deposited in our Waste TOTEs/ Waste Buckets;

  • Hot ashes & carbon
  •  Flammable liquids, paint & thinner
  • Construction debris, rocks & sand
  • Car parts
  • Palette waste
  • Hazardous waste & chemicals
  • Cadavers (dead animals)
  • Engine oil & Kitchen Oil
  • Asbestos
  • Batteries & corrosive acids
  • Any other materials that could ignite and/or cause an unsafe situation (explosives)

You can apply at one of our Sales offices, with a valid Identification and your first payment. It is also possible to make your payment directly thru your bank account. Please be sure to ask our Sales representative for a Standing Order form. You will need to have your bank account number handy. It’s also possible to directly contact our EcoTech Sales representative for a personal visit.

Beside the regular house hold waste, It is also possible to dispose of garden waste, e.g: dried leaves, small branches, palm leaves, and as long as it can fit entirely in the TOTE and the lid can close entirely.

Payments can be made;

  • in advance at one of our local Sales offices;
  • in CASH or Debit with the driver at the time of service.

It is also possible to program your service on a monthly basis a/o as often as needed. Please contact us for more information on how to do so.

Please notify us, in writing, of any billing or service changes. Cancellations are the responsibility of the customer. Collection service and charges will continue until notice is received and processed at our office.

You can rent one of our Waste containers of 10/15/20/30 yard. And we will deliver and pick this up at the location on which this was requested.

To rent a Waste container please contact one of our Sales offices in Shaba/ Dakota or San Nicolas or Parkietenbos. Waste containers are mainly for bulky items, construction waste or regular yard cleaning debris.

Examples of bulky items include: refrigerators, washers, dryers, sofas, chairs, mattresses, beds tables or other household items too large to be picked up by your weekly trash truck.

Charges are due and payable upon receipt of the bill. Accounts that become past due will be automatically suspended. As of January first 2010, Ecotech will only accept Direct Debit standing order, Regular standing order, One year in advance payment or the monthly fee at the beginning of the month up front and a one month deposit.

The following items are examples of hazardous waste items that MUST NOT be placed out for collection: MOTOR OIL, PAINT, PAINT THINNER, FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS, ANY TYPE OF BIO HAZARDOUS WASTE, (S.A. SIRINGES, CATHETERS, HOME DIALYSIS KITS ETC..) POOL CHEMICALS, DRAIN CLEANERS, PESTICIDES, CAUSTICS, DRUGS, and EXPLOSIVES.

If any of these are found in the regular waste streams it will be traced back to the source and we will charge a proper disposal fee.

Waste Collection on these days will remain the same and will not be interrupted by any Local Holiday. If this is the case you will be notified accordingly in due time. Commercial waste services that require services on holidays are subject to over time charges depending on the type of service.

Acceptable recyclable items include: newspaper, mixed paper, cardboard, glass bottles & jars, (all colors) plastic containers (soda, milk, water bottles), aluminum and steel/tin cans. In order for us to better help our environemt, please empty all liquids out of their containers and then dispose.

If your collection service day is on a Monday , the “Toter” needs to be placed outside the night before, in this case on Sunday evening.

Services discontinued for non-payment will not be resumed until the total balance due is paid in full and a service reinstatement fee has been paid. A new contract will be made and a Direct Debiting Standing Order is required to reinstate the services.
